Change Notification Preferences

The Notification Preferences module in the Business Portal control which Business events generate alerts for you, and on which channels you receive them. Each notification type can be turned on or off independently for In-App and Email delivery, so you only get the alerts that matter to your role.
Step 1 - Open Notification Preferences from the top-right user menu
In the Business Portal, look at the very top-right of the screen. You will see a notification bell, your name and your profile picture.
Click your profile picture (or your name) in the top-right corner.
A dropdown menu will appear with three options: My Profile, Notification Preferences and Log Out.
Click Notification Preferences.
The Profile and Settings panel will slide in from the right side of the screen with Notification Preferences selected in the left side menu.

Step 2 - Choose which alerts you want to receive

You will see a table listing every notification type available to Business users. Each row has two toggles on the right: In-App (the bell icon in the Business Portal) and Email (delivered to the email address on your profile).
The available notification types are:
Agent Recommendations — get alerted when there are new recommendations for your AI agents, such as suggested intents, knowledge gaps or behavior tweaks based on recent call activity.
Billing Started — get alerted when billing has started on your Business account, so you know exactly when your active subscription window begins.
Integration Alerts — get alerted when an integration is connected or disconnected on your Business — for example, when credentials are activated, expire, or a sync drops the connection.
For each notification type, click the toggle under In-App and/or Email to turn that channel on (blue) or off (grey). You can mix and match — for example, you may want Integration Alerts on both channels, but Agent Recommendations only in-app.
Step 3 - Changes saved automatically
Notification preferences are saved the moment you flip a toggle — there is no separate Save button. The next time the chosen event happens, you will receive the alert on the channels you enabled.
Tip: If you stop receiving expected emails, check that the email address on your My Profile tab is correct, and look in your spam folder for messages from Kickcall.
What happens next
In-app alerts appear under the bell icon in the top-right of the Business Portal. Email alerts are sent to the address shown on your My Profile tab. You can return to Notification Preferences at any time to adjust which alerts you receive.
